About Me

LeVonda is a seasoned educator at McLoughlin Middle School in Medford, Oregon, where she instructs 7th and 8th graders in digital fabrication, robotics, and computer skills. With nearly a decade of classroom experience and over 20 years of practical knowledge, she adeptly integrates real-world insights into her teaching.

She secured a grant that enabled the establishment of a successful SkillsUSA chapter at McLoughlin, guiding students to excel in various competitions, notably achieving 36 gold medals, 16 silver, and 12 bronze at state and one silver and one bronze at nationals. LeVonda's enthusiasm for learning and her dedication to fostering inclusivity within the CTE industry shine through, as she strives to ignite a passion for computer science and other traditionally male-dominated roles, encouraging young women to embrace these opportunities.
